Set up and validate a HeartBox appliance for DICOM transfer into HeartLab.
HeartBox provides a managed network path for devices that cannot send directly over DICOM-TLS.
What is HeartBox?
HeartBox is a small routing appliance that forwards studies from local imaging systems to HeartLab.
In the box
- HeartBox appliance
- 2 x CAT6 Ethernet cables
- Power supply
Setup
- Connect one Ethernet cable from your live network port to the HeartBox LAN/WAN port as instructed.
- Connect power and confirm the device boots.
- Have an administrator confirm the box is online in HeartLab.
- Complete final site configuration with HeartLab support.

Troubleshooting
- Verify power and Ethernet cables are seated correctly.
- Confirm cable is in the correct LAN port for your hardware revision.
- Test Ethernet link on another known-good device.
- Confirm uploaded files are under 1 GB limit.
