HeartBox

Set up and validate a HeartBox appliance for DICOM transfer into HeartLab.

HeartBox provides a managed network path for devices that cannot send directly over DICOM-TLS.

What is HeartBox?

HeartBox is a small routing appliance that forwards studies from local imaging systems to HeartLab.

In the box

  • HeartBox appliance
  • 2 x CAT6 Ethernet cables
  • Power supply

Setup

  1. Connect one Ethernet cable from your live network port to the HeartBox LAN/WAN port as instructed.
  2. Connect power and confirm the device boots.
  3. Have an administrator confirm the box is online in HeartLab.
  4. Complete final site configuration with HeartLab support.

  • Current: 1.6A max

Troubleshooting

  • Verify power and Ethernet cables are seated correctly.
  • Confirm cable is in the correct LAN port for your hardware revision.
  • Test Ethernet link on another known-good device.
  • Confirm uploaded files are under 1 GB limit.
