Kosmos
Connect a Kosmos device to HeartLab via IPSec VPN and DICOM profile configuration.
Use this guide to configure VPN, DICOM identity, and PACS profile settings for Kosmos.
Applies to
- Administrators with Integrations: DICOM permission
- Site staff with Kosmos admin access
Create DICOM identity in HeartLab
- Navigate to Settings > Integrations > DICOM.

- Click Create DICOM Identity.
- Enter a name, and device AE title.
Configure VPN on Kosmos
- Open Settings > Admin Settings > VPN.
- Add a new VPN profile.

- Enter:
- Type: IPSec Xauth PSK
- Server address: Provided by HeartLab
- Pre-shared key: Provided by HeartLab
- Username: Provided by HeartLab
- Password: Provided by HeartLab
- Save.
- Connect to the newly created VPN server.
Create PACS profile on Kosmos
- Open Admin Settings > DICOM > PACS.
- Click + ADD PROFILE
- Configure:
- Station AE title: Enter device AE title, as noted above.
- Server IP address: Provided by HeartLab
- Server AE title: Enter HeartLab server AE title
- Port: 11112
- Click Verify to test the new connection. You should see a green tick.
- Toggle off 'Attach the report'
- Toggle on ' Attach the DICOM SR report'.

Send studies
Once configured, studies can be sent to HeartLab. To do this:

- Click PACS from the right-hand menu.
- When prompted, click Ok to complete and archive the study. The study will be automatically sent to HeartLab.
Troubleshooting
- Verify AE title match on both sides.
- Confirm VPN is active before send.
- If queue is stuck, verify network path and re-run profile verification.
