DICOM Identities
Create and manage DICOM identities so HeartLab can recognize incoming device sources.
DICOM identities map source devices to recognizable names and security settings in HeartLab.
Applies to
- Users with Integrations: DICOM permission (typically Administrators)
Create a DICOM Identity
To create a new DICOM Identity:
- Navigate to Settings > Devices > DICOM.
- Select Create DICOM Identity.
- Enter a name, and device AE title.
- Click Save.
Manage DICOM Identity Settings
Select a DICOM Identity to open its configuration page. From there:
- Enable/disable the identity
- Configure anonymous TLS behavior
- Download client certificate (for authenticated TLS workflows)
- Review usage and traffic behavior
Best practice
Use consistent naming that includes location and device model to simplify support and audits.
